Aaron completed a Bachelor of Arts (with a major in Psychology) and a Bachelor of Laws at Monash University and was admitted to practise in May 2001.

Since joining Marshalls & Dent in 2002 Aaron has practised exclusively in the area of Family Law, with a particular focus on complex financial and business related settlements, though he also deals with children’s matters.  Aaron’s background in psychology provides him particular insight into the developmental and psychological needs of children and parents when dealing with children's welfare matters resulting from the breakdown of a marriage.

Every family is different and consequently Family Law advice needs to be tailored to meet each client’s individual needs.  Aaron is empathetic and skilled at listening to clients and ascertaining and structuring a settlement that best suits their particular financial and personal needs. 

Aaron was appointed a Partner of Marshalls & Dent in October 2007 and is actively involved in a number of committees run by the Family Law Section of the Law Institute of Victoria currently serving as Chair of the Junior Family Lawyers Committee, as well as being a member of the Education Committee and Family Law Executive of the LIV.
