Helen Suke

Helen commenced her law degree at Monash University in 1990 after gaining extensive experience in business and the medical field. She completed her Bachelor of Laws with Honours.

Since 1998 Helen has practised exclusively in Family Law. She has a comprehensive grasp of all aspects of Family Law. She has particular expertise in complex financial and business related matters that involve business and property valuations, company, trusts, superannuation and tax laws. She brings empathy and strong practical skills to her clients.

Helen is an advocate of alternative dispute resolution methods, and in particular, mediation. She encourages clients to be actively involved in the resolution of their matters and guides them towards practical solutions. Helen also has well honed litigation skills for those matters that are unable to be resolved without the assistance of the Courts.

Helen is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, Victorian Women Lawyers and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia. She has previously served as the Lawyer representative for three years on the Ethics Committee at the University of Melbourne (Arts and Education) and various community based groups. She currently chairs her previous College Council and is a member of the College, Executive and Business Committee.
