Margaret has been practising in Family Law for over 20 years, and has been with Marshalls & Dent since 1992.  She is a Partner in the firm.

Margaret practises exclusively in the area of Family Law, including de facto, heterosexual and same sex relationships.

She has particular expertise in complex property matters and brings a wealth of experience, common sense and empathy to this difficult area. Margaret is able to provide effective and supportive communication with clients through this difficult time.

Margaret is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and Victorian Womens Lawyers.

Margaret is a trained Mediator and Collaborative Lawyer and has particular interest in alternative dispute resolution
