Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Laws from Latrobe University, a Bachelor of Media Arts and a Graduate Certificate of Arts and Entertainment Management from Deakin University. During her Bachelor of Laws, Rebecca's focused her studies on Australian and American Intellectual Property Law including; Australian Intellectual Property Law, IP Licensing Law, USA Sports Law and USA Entertainment Law.

Rebecca joined Marshalls & Dent in January 2008 as an Articled Clerk in our Entertainment Law division, having worked in the commercial gallery sector as the Director's Assistant at Gould Galleries for five years. Prior to this Rebecca spent three years as the wholesale print network manager at Port Jackson Press.

In her own words:

"Having worked in the visual arts sector for eight years I am looking forward to bringing my skills and experience from this field to Marshalls & Dent Lawyers as there are many situations where artists of all kinds need the assistance of someone with, not only knowledge of the law but an appreciation of the processes and practices that artists experience every day.

Doing Articles with Marshalls & Dent Lawyers has allowed me to continue my interest in Intellectual Property whilst gaining a comprehensive knowledge of the legal practice and all sectors of the entertainment industry."
