Rohani Bixler

Rohani completed her Bachelor of Arts at Monash University in 2001 and spent the following three years managing a Domestic Violence shelter in California, USA.

She returned to Australia in 2004 and continued working in the Social Work field with the City of Greater Dandenong, and Alamein Community Centre until she completed her Bachelor of Laws at Monash University in 2006. Rohani completed her articles of clerkship in 2007 and has, since that time, worked primarily in the area of Wills and Estates.  Rohani has extensive knowledge and experience in the preparation of Wills establishing testamentary trusts, protective trusts for vulnerable beneficiaries, and structures to accommodate the objectives of blended families.  She works closely with financial advisors and accountants as appropriate to ensure that potential taxation implications are considered, and the potential for claims is minimized.

Rohani's experience also includes:

• advising on issues pertaining to superannuation death benefits and self managed funds;
• the establishment, variation and administration of various trusts including unit trusts, discretionary trusts, hybrid trusts, and child support trusts;
• making applications for grants of probate and letters of administration; and
• advising on and assisting with Part IV applications for family provision.
